What would life be without ATVs....

One of my favorite past times is riding my quad. The freedom, the "on the edge" feeling when you are picking up speed, on the brink of out of control but not quite. It's amazing and I truly think that only fellow riders really know what I mean. You can try to describe the feeling to non riders til you are blue in the face, but the look back you get from them is a glossy eyed look. Please don't get me wrong, I don't look down on those who don't ride at all. I'm just stating the fact that you riders know.

Whether it's riding trails, Motocross, or just opening it up full bore on a straight stretch, riding is like no other. I started riding a motorcycle 150cc. It was a great way to learn. Not too fast, but enough for me to get a feel for riding. Had a few wrecks, as most riders do, but all in all so much fun. Then I got the quad fever. Maintained riding 2 wheels for awhile but set my sites on getting 4. Finally it happened, the perfect opportunity...I bought a quad. Yamaha Bruin 250! Although it's a "utility quad" I wasn't doing any farming with it lol. Trails and dirt roads for me!! Even though I have rolled it once, and tipped it over on me a couple times, it hasn't stopped me from riding and loving it. Like the saying goes "fall off a horse, you get back on." Same goes for my quad. I happen to be a gear junky too. I just can't seem to have too much gear. FOX, Thor, Shift, Fly Racing, etc...It's all good!

So in closing, if you are a rider, I just have to say RIDE ON!!! and if you are not but may be considering it, I say go for it! Once you do, you'll never be the same...
